To make the burgers, all you need to do is cook your plant-based patties according to the package directions, pour on the queso and load on the pico- yes, that’s really it! Serve on your favorite gluten-free hamburger buns. Recipe by Carol Kicinski.
- 4 plant-based burgers (try Beyond or Impossible!)
- 1/2 Jar of LOCA in Mild
- Pico de gallo or tomato slices
- 4 gluten-free hamburger buns
Cook the burgers over the stovetop per the package directions. We love using an indoor grill plate that fits atop our stove. Heat the queso in a separate pan, stirring until fully melted. Option to add in Rotel or diced tomato for extra chunkiness. Place each burger on the bottom part of the bun, top with queso and pico de gallo. Enjoy!
